Dr. Horne was able to go over this morning's trial results with the other doctors. Her left and right atrial pressures were a bit high and her oxygen levels do need some work, but she was on fairly low levels of medication for the trial.
So since they have that wiggle room he has decided to try to take her off ECMO today when they clean out her dressing... He'll get the team together to do it around 5 or maybe as late as 7... so please be praying it all goes well! ❤️🩹 She'll have her chest open (with a similar dressing to what she currently has) for a few days after to allow things to settle and keep the extra pressure off her heart. Being off ECMO would definitely a big step in the right direction. We are nervous, but very thankful and are feeling hopeful
