We have had an eventful morning, here are a couple posts from the facebook group:

Thanks for your continued prayers and support ❤️
It's so encouraging for both of us to know we have so many people praying and thinking of our sweet Ruby.
Ruby is in the OR right now for another wash out of her chest patch. They are going to remove the snares (where the cannulea/tubes for the ECMO circuit were attached, they left them in in case she had to be put back on ECMO) and replace a few of her drainage tubes as some of them got a bit blocked up with fibrin and haven't been putting out much fluid. Dr. Horne mentioned that they may close up her chest, or at least decrease the space between her ribs... but I think it all depends on how things look. They will also remove her left artrial line.
Dr. Horne seemed optimistic about everything, and reassured me that she isn't going backwards and that removing the snares is a big milestone in her recovery. Everyone has a different opinion so it's hard to know how to feel or think about it all. Tom and I are going to try to take a nap while we wait, but they should be done soon.

They closed up her chest and took out all but the pacing wires and drain tubes. She responded well initially, but did have a spell where her lungs clamped down and her o2 saturation dropped. She was okay again but is coming out of another one now. Dr. Krmpotic (intensivist) said that we can expect this to happen frequently as her lungs adjust to the difference in pressure now that there is less space in her chest. So this will be our day...
Please pray that her lungs will adjust well and quickly to the changes, and that they won't run out of things to do for her. ❤️🩹
Ruby has a dressing over the stitches that drains away anything that leaks through.
