Ruby is off the ventilator right now and has been since 10:50 this morning! Not sure what the plan is, but she is doing well on the Airvo, with room air. The Airvo is basically an artificial nose, it's providing a steady amount of humidified air since we are bypassing her nose and throat while she is breathing through her trach.
Praying she continues to do well and that they come up with a good plan on how to move forward. She may go back on CPAP on the vent for overnights, but not sure yet.
She's having a good nap right now. Thank you for all your prayers!
We had a good snuggle this morning, and she showed me how much she missed the snuggles by pooping all over me. 😂
