Ruby got to see two of her favourite people today ❤️ first time Lizzie has seen her since March 26th! 😭 Despite her facial expression, Lizzie was very happy to be here! Lol
Ruby had a pretty good day, they reduced the frequency of her diuretics because she is pretty vascularly dry- her fontanel has been pretty sunken the past few days.
And we are continuing on with the slow weaning of all her sedation meds. If all continues on track she should be weaned off of them by May 23rd or 25th, and then we'll wean off her clonidine since that is there to prevent withdrawal from the other drugs. Hoping we can remove her nasogastric tube in the next few days, but she needs to take sodium so that one has been a struggle for her to take orally. Her other meds go down pretty easily, with a bit of patience.
